Acrylic Art Beyond the Canvas

Why limit your art to a canvas? In this creative teen acrylic painting class, we take paint to unexpected places — from decorative plates to tote bags, and more. You’ll learn colour mixing, layering, and brush techniques while experimenting with surfaces that let your personality shine.

From a single gem to a fully decked-out masterpiece, this class teaches teens how to bedazzle everything. You’ll work with rhinestones, beads, and embellishments to add sparkle to clothing, accessories, décor, and more. Along the way, you’ll pick up pro tips for planning designs, securing embellishments, and making sure your creations shine from every angle.

In this creative, anything-goes class, teens combine paint, collage, texture, found objects, and more to make bold, layered artworks that tell a story. You’ll experiment with colour, composition, and unique materials to create pieces that are totally one-of-a-kind.
